My morning started off with a dream. At first I was just floating along time and space to a silver line on the horizon. When I arrived I'm center stage, a single spotlight eliminating me. 1000 people all looking up at me in silence. I look down at my hands and I'm grasping a gun. Reality starts to fade in as my a abrasive radio clock belts and advertisement about a music festival headlining, The Postmortem Orchestra. "...other bands include Horses are Monsters, Satan and The Jazz Hands, and a special mystery act", the disc jockey announced. As I got ready to save i thought to myself, "hmmm, you would think that Satan would be a headliner." I look in to the mirror and turn around in shock. There before me is what looks like an angel with his head bleeding from a laceration abroad his forehead. He looks at me, my face grimace in fear. He tries to say something to me, "You can see angles...", I'm not sure if it was a question or a statement. Suddenly his head jerks to the left, as if some invisible hammer was hitting him, his head cracks open revealing parts of his skull and brain. his head hits the floor and as he is bleeding out he disappears. i must be going crazy.

Depression and doubt hit me like a linebacker. Flooded with confusion I decide to call in to work and let them know I wont be coming maybe that will give me a chance to collect myself. The boss picks up the phone and before I can explain anything he is yelling at me, "Where the hell are you?! You're an hour late and if you don't get hear in the next half-hour I will fire your worthless ass!" click. How long was I standing in my bathroom for? Where did the day go? Am I going crazy? These questions plagued my mind as I fumbled with my keys up to the car. I have worked this lousy job too long to be treated like this. I have been nothing but loyal to my work and it goes unnoticed every meaningless day. In an attempt to drown out my thoughts of depression I flick on the radio. Hip hop, more hip hop, some dance jazz fusion. With out warning my car flips tail first in the air. Time seems to slow down. I'm not sure if I hit something or what happened but before I know it my car and i are upside down. I can hear one of my wheels turning then everything fades to black.

I pulled myself from the wreckage and just walked away, not stopping to see if anyone was hurt not worried about my own well being or my job. I had a new determination, a new goal. I don't know why but I was going to that show, I needed to go, it took precedence over all other things. Nothing would come between me and my destination. With out stopping to urinate or provide myself with food for sustenance I took a train then a plain, which i ended up pissing myself on, then got in a cab and this feeling of calmness washed over me. I knew this was right this is what needed to be done.

...The crowed around me turned in to a mix between demons and angles. All around me was the grotesque. On one side of me was the cherubs, they had 4 heads one of a lion one of a bull one of a eagle and a human face. they had six wings and eyes all over there body's. on the other side were the demons they where malformed beyond any macabre description i can give you.

I was about to run out of there, but i could not glide through the crowd anymore. i was stuck there as if i was in a cage made of biblical creatures. Then the devil took the stage and he played jazz.
